Infant Daycare Program

Early Steps Infant Care Program

Early Steps Daycare implements a nurturing, inclusive play-based program.  Each classroom’s curriculum is planned based on the interests and individual needs of the children enrolled.  The curriculum includes age and developmentally appropriate activities that support the overall development of a child across all learning domains including cognitive, language, social, emotional, and motor (gross & fine) skills of the children as they participate in activities.  All of our programs meet the guidelines set by the DEEC and are based on standards set by NAEYC and other professional organizations.

Caring for Your Infant Aged Child

It is our commitment to provide all children enrolled in our Infant Program with an attentive, caring, loving and nurturing environment.

Early Steps Daycare staff  provide multiple experiences for your child to safely explore their environment and to promote their growth and development.

All infants enrolled at Early Steps are offered tummy time, songs/music, simple stories, and fine & gross motor play!

Age Specialized Staffing Care

All infant teachers complete SIDS training annually and provide a schedule that meets the specific needs of your baby each day; infants are fed based upon the schedule you provide and they nap, play, and receive diaper changes as individually needed.

A daily sheet is provided at the end of each program day that includes information regarding all your child’s food, play, sleep, and diapering times.
